What We’ve Built Together

01 — Workforce & Job Fairs

UCN has hosted multiple workforce and job fairs across Harris County, directly connecting hundreds of job seekers with employers offering living-wage opportunities — including second-chance employers who value skills over records.
02 — CDL Workforce Initiative
UCN launched a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) workforce pathway, creating direct routes to well-paying careers in transportation and logistics — a high-demand industry with significant upward mobility.
03 — Credible Messenger Implementation
UCN has embedded Credible Messenger programming into its youth and family strategy, deploying trusted community voices to mentor, redirect, and support at-risk youth and families navigating the justice system.
04 — Second-Chance Workforce Pathways
UCN created intentional second-chance pathways that remove barriers for individuals with prior system involvement — connecting them with employers, training, and the support needed to rebuild economic stability.
05 — Community Health Worker Training
UCN has trained Community Health Workers embedded in neighborhoods across Houston, bringing trusted, culturally competent health navigation directly to families who need it most.
