Urban Parent and Family Network is a network of families and community members who have been impacted by Harris County Resources for Children and Adults or the Juvenile Justice System.  Urban Parent and Family Network is a space where parents and family members can connect with other system impacted families. Our goal is to help families be successful by providing guidance and peer support during their most critical time of need.

• Peer to Peer support to help you deal with the challenges of having a loved one involved with Harris County Resources for Children and Adults or the Juvenile Justice system.

• Someone to help you understand how to navigate the complexities of county resources and the juvenile justice system.

• Connections to others parents or family members who have been in your shoes and understand your situation.

​

• Access to resources and training on how to advocate for policy changes to improve outcomes for system involved children.
